Founded in 1927, the Annecy Football Club - originally FC Annecy - had its hours of glory in 1960 with a title of Champion of France Amateur and between 1988 and 1993 when it evolved into 2nd^{Division under the direction of Georges Korac and then Guy Stephan, when it reached the 8^th final of the French Cup in 1991. Since then, this club club has returned to the amateur world, Level Honor for the assigned team, and sail between the different divisions of the League Rhône-Alpes. The club welcomes children from 6 years of age to the football school, but all categories seem to quickly display "complete" with 360 licensees.}
