ST. MAURICE CHURCH
The building houses an important heritage with the exceptional funerary painting of the tomb of Philibert de Monthoux.
In the heart of the city, this building of Gothic architecture, squat, over a canal, former chapel of the Dominican convent built in the fifteenth century, has an austere facade, unlike its airy interior. The choir is decorated with sculptures in the form of cherubs bearing the attributes of Cardinal de Brogny dating from 1422, father of this church and the Dominicans. The church shelters an important heritage with the exceptional funerary painting (middle of the 15th century) of the tomb of Philibert de Monthoux, adviser of the dukes of Savoy and Burgundy.
