THE CONSERVATORY OF ART AND HISTORY
Conservatory bringing together several departmental cultural services, the École des Gobelins and a rehearsal hall in Annecy.
The building of the former Grand Séminaire, built between 1684 and 1688 and remodeled in the centuries that followed, was acquired in 1973 by the Conseil général to house the Archives départementales and various art collections. Listed in the Inventaire supplémentaire des monuments historiques in 1974, it became the Conservatoire d'Art et d'Histoire. Today, it houses the services of the Pôle Culture Patrimoine of the Haute-Savoie Department, as well as CITIA.
