THE ALPINE SEMNOZ GARDEN
A small island of mountain vegetation: a portion of alpine pastures maintained in a state as close as possible to the natural environment, allowing you to discover the botany of the mid-mountain region. Plants and shrubs are labelled throughout the summer season in a space that offers easy access. It is restored and maintained each year by the volunteers of FRAPNA (association for the protection of nature) thanks to the financial support of the intermunicipal union. Throughout the summer, there are thematic activities to discover plants and their virtues, but also introductions to the protection of this precious natural mountain habitat and the fauna that surrounds it (programme to be seen on the online site).
