CLAUDINE AND JEAN-MARC SALOMON FOUNDATION FOR CONTEMPORARY ART
The foundation, created in 2001 - by the couple Claudine and Jean-Marc Salomon, passionate collectors of contemporary art -, invested in 2015 the exhibition space La FabriC, 10 minutes walk from the old town of Annecy, along the Canal du Thiou. Proximity and intimacy characterize this contemporary space that is conducive to artistic collaboration. The vitaminized orange on the façade symbolizes the team's playful dynamism in its approach to promoting contemporary art to the general public and collectors. Exhibitions, artist residencies, conferences, meetings, artistic trips, school visits: an exciting exploration of the universe of promising or confirmed artists supported by the foundation, with multiple keys to understand the evolution of contemporary art. Programme from September to December 2019 at the FabriC: Renewall by Maxime Duveau. The Salomon Foundation is also curator of an exhibition at the Abbey space in Annecy-le-Vieux: from September to December 2019, Alain Bublex's An American Landscape.
