PARABOOT
History: Late th century. It all starts in Izeaux, a small village at the foot of Vercors… Rémy-Alexis Richard, born in 1878 in a family of modest peasants, is a cut-cut worker at Chevron, one of 20 shoe workshops that led to the Isérois village. He decides to try his luck and climb to Paris with drawings of his own models. It is about selling them as a "factory agent". And it works! He made his first shoes, for large customers of Paris, by the workshops of Izeaux, including the one he just left. In 1908, he began hiring his own staff.
Then it's the ascent we know. Paraboot is synonymous with shoes made in France, top of the line and sewn hand. Paraboot is the world leader in the Norwegian stitching.
