This museum, which is to be held at the Association Patrimoine Textile Viennese, born in 1987 (year of closing the last Viennese weaving), covers an area of 1 400 m 2 the history of the textile industry, which for more than two centuries was the dominant activity of the region. From the th to the th century, the draperie, especially carded wool and the so-called "renaissance" fabrics, made many of the Viennese population live. The museum, thanks to some thirty machines, a animated model and videos, recounts the complete cycle of manufacturing. At certain times you can see machines in operation, such as the navette loom, or the sampling frame, which used to serve to comb wool in order to make the threads.
