In the center of the village of Juliénas, the old church, abandoned since 1868, became, under the impulse of Victor Peyret in 1954, the Cellier de la Vieille Eglise, managed by the Association of the producers of the Juliénas vintage. Unique in its kind, this mystical cellar, its frescoes, as well as its stained glass windows of vinous and bacchic inspiration, have contributed to the reputation of the village and of the vintage. The Cellar of the Old Church is a place of tasting and animation where the Wine Festival takes place.
