PALACIO DE VILLAPANÉS * * * * *
Palace with a patio and rooms divided into 3 areas offering the greatest comfort
Its real advantage is that it is located in a palace of Sevillian Baroque civil architecture from the beginning of the 18th century, still inhabited by the Marquises of Villapanés until 2004. The family coat of arms on the main staircase, the Roman columns surrounding the patio from Itálica, the patio of the shells (conchas), the doors, the ceilings, the fountains and the original azulejos can all be admired... Divided into three spaces, the palace, a 19th century house and a modern building, the 50 rooms offer the highest level of comfort.

We enjoyed one sunset on the terrace and one evening in the spa area. Both are lovely and helped justify the higher price of the hotel.
We did not have any meals at the hotel. Note: the hotel offers an airport transfer service that is very overpriced at 80 euros per journey - the standard cab rate is less than half of that.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here.
