AC PALACIO DE SANTA PAULA HOTEL * * * * *
High-end star hotel with seventy-five beautiful and comfortable rooms in Granada
It's hard to get more central, and it's hard to get more upscale. The AC Hoteles chain (partly acquired by Marriott in the spring of 2011) took over the former Santa Paula convent to create the 5-star hotel that Granada was lacking at the time, and on the whole, it's a success, both visually and in terms of comfort. In all, seventy-two beautiful rooms, with sober but refined decor, overlook the imposing cloister or the outside (less interesting!). In summer, the hotel organizes classical musical evenings, which you can enjoy with a drink in the café overlooking the cloister. Even if you're not staying at the hotel.
