In town for a conference and wanted some wine and tapas. B44 truly hit the spot!!! Excellent bites and some great wine choices. We really enjoyed the environment and our server was top notch, she made great recommendations and kept our glasses full. B44 is high on my list of must visit places when I'm in town.

This Spanish restaurant is not the best one I've been in the city. The Spanish omelette was not good. I think there are better Spanish restaurants in Sf.

Great Tapas and classic French cuisine.

We had a wonderful evening at this bistro. The service was very friendly and it had a fun and funky ambiance. I lived in Spain for a few years and love good tapas. B44 did not disappoint. We shared a salad along with sizzling gambas ajillo and patatas bravas. They served bread to dip into the hot shrimp and garlic oil. I had the crema Catlana for dessert, and it was the best I have ever had. The caramelized sugar crust and creamy custard had just a hint of orange.

Was a lovely dinner in an interestingly decorated place that is dual identity. Catalan/Spanish food and French food. The desserts are all in the French menu. It was an interesting experience to be in a dual cuisine (not fusion, thank goodness) restaurant. Wines were mostly from Spain or France (also a good thing bc you get less headaches than American wine) and the tempranillo paired perfectly with the paella B44.

This hidden gem is a delight. Pedro and Manuel complemented each other as an excellent serving team. The shrimp tapas were amazing, as well as the mussels, and the rabbit. Fun and lively establishment tucked away on a quiet walk-street.

My friend and I were walking through Belden place looking for a place for dinner and decided to try this spot out.

The restaurant itself is nice, the inside is very open and has an urban vibe to it. The staff here are very hospitable and attentive.

We ended up getting the French onion soup and mushroom pasta. The soup was good but the pasta was ehhhh, it tasted plain and the sauce was cold.

My family joined me for my retirement dinner at 6pm on a Monday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had no trouble hearing each other in conversation. The six of us shared 5 different tapas dishes and two salads from the Spanish side of the menu for starters. We each selected our own main dish from the French side of the menu, and we finished by sharing several plates of three different desserts. I had some or all of 11 different plates. Everything was wonderful, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We truly enjoyed our evening and our meal. We've been to B44 before, and undoubtedly we'll be there again. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, drinks, service, value. The mussels are consistently great. Everything done with an opinion, never boring or bland. Very nice heated cozy patio.

Loved this place! You can order from the Spanish inspired menu or the French menu of their sister restaurant. All dishes were great, though we found the french dishes edged out the Spanish as our faves.

Staff was wonderful and atmosphere was delightful. All in all a great date night!

B44, owned by French-Espanish entrepreneur has combined best of two countries' culinary heritage. In addition to the Paellas del Mar and Steak au Poivre, at B44 you will find an authentic European hospitality and veritable spirits! Top choices for me are the ahi tuna ceviche, the paellas and of course the moules marinier. Additionally, I dig their burger and octo app dish along with a pint of fresh squeezed cold Alsacian Kronenburg beer. Prices here are not a cheat and the food is delectable. I guess Europeans know a thing or 2 about culinary and hospitality. 5 stars from me!
