For 25 for Two sandwiches I'd expect to taste the ingredients. Poor quality meet and cheese. Bread was decent but total flavor sadness.

We ordered lunch in advance but it took a while for them to prepare the sandwich. Apart from that, it was very delicious.

Ordered in the afternoon and it was busy. My card would not scan and the gentleman at the register immediately yells, "I cannot read the card!" (He didn't try and didnt want to manually enter it) and then yelled back at the kitchen to cancel the order. I told him that I have another form of payment and was able to get my food, barely. It was extremely childish of him to attempt to cancel my lunch simply because the card wouldn't scan and he didn't feel like A) entering the card manually B) using his words like an adult would do and to ask if I happened to have another form of payment. The sandwich was very good, but in that area lots of other sandwiches are just as good. GO ELSEWHERE.

I was really looking forward to a neighborhood sandwich shop with vegan options but i was really disappointed. I got the vegan blt and it was so awful- inedible. the veggie bacon wasn't even cooked or anything... I wont be coming back unless they improve their veggie options and I'm surprised by all the good reviews )-:

Great neighborhood joint with amazing southern chinese style pastries. Appreciate how the pastries are not too sweet

They have the best red bean mooncake, and it’s reasonably priced.

My go to Chinese bakery in the Sunset!! Yummy pineapple bun, egg tart, and the cake is very light and fluffy, not too sweet. Cash only.

A terrific neighborhood bakery offering fresh Asian baked goods in an unassuming space. Beautifully soft baked goods and excellent Chinese pineapple buns (Bolo-bao), custard tarts, and whipped cream cakes. Brings me back to my childhood every time i step into the place.

Affordable and delicious. The perfect combo.

Made a phone order and the geniuses never wrote my order down, never asked for my name, number or anything. They said it would be a minimum 30 minute wait to order again. Not going back

I ordered the special hot link with smoked turkey with habanero and it was excellent

Big awesome fat sandwiches!

35min wait without warning. Slow working employees and friend of them behind the counter to hang out. Ruthless behaviour. Either owner is not aware of whats happening in his shop or he has no clue how to run a business. Probably both. I’d recommend incentive-based payment

Amazing place to go and have a bite. It can be slow on days that are busy which is to be expected. Employees help you if you have any questions about the sandwiches you are ordering.

Delicious Egg Custard Tart, but the Char Siu Bao was a bit too fatty for my liking.
Very good value!

I got my birthday cake here and it was delicious! The cake was a light and fluffy chiffon with whipped cream and ripe strawberries. A total dream to eat, not dense or oily at all. It was a big hit with all my friends. Reasonable price, $50 for a 10” cake. The bakery is cash only.

Pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted fresh. Bun was soft and not chewy. Short walk from the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

Excellent sandwich, easy to order and near work.

Prices are very affordable. Only tried the almond cookie but it wasn’t very good. Everything else like egg tart and custard buns were sold out.

Bakery is still fantastic. Had the cocktail bun and it was superb!
March 2018:
Great Chinese bakery without having to go all the way to Chinatown.
Custard tarts, pies, ???? are all fantastic.
