Well located hotel in San Francisco offering different ranges of comfortable rooms with a modern and eclectic decor

The San Francisco Proper Hotel offers several room types, from the two-bunk bed (perfect for trips with friends!) to the 50-square-meter suite with a view of the city. In all cases, the comfort is there and the decoration is modern and eclectic. The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance of many attractions, but the street is not the busiest, especially at night.

The hotel is surrounded by homeless drug attics. It was unsettling for me. The hotel is beautiful and staff amazing. The city needs to clean up the streets. It was very sad.

Overall pleasant experience. All employees were courteous and helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you Christian for helping us with departure and loading. The area isn't the best but we did not encounter any issues being outside or walking out to our vehicle.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The staff were attentive and helpful, the restaurants exceeded our expectations, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, once you step outside the hotel you’re slapped in the face with SF/CA political ideologies. I can’t even put into words how upside down this city is, especially the area around surrounding the Hotel. Solution: Lyft to and from the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, room is small but cozy. The valet and the restaurant staff were very friendly.

However, the front desk host, Lindsey, did not seem to know what she was doing. She walked away as I approached the front desk. When she came back to check me in, she did not offer water nor introduce any of the amenities and restaurants that they have to offer. More training is required for her.
