A historic city hotel, this bed & breakfast offers rooms, most of which feature bubble baths.

Built in 1869, this is Sausalito's oldest hotel. Housed in a Victorian house in a quiet, tree-lined residential area, it has now been converted into a Bed & Breakfast. It's a charming address that has retained its bohemian and artistic charm, ideally located in the center of Sausalito, a stone's throw from restaurants, art galleries and the ferries to San Francisco. Each room is individually decorated, and most feature bubble baths. Surprisingly, prices remain reasonable, while the entire complex has been renovated.

Stayed here for 15 nights whilst visiting family. Lovely hotel, well situated close to the main road in Sausalito which was handy to walk into town and explore. Room was well presented and comfortable. Comfy bed. Good shower. Coffee machine supplied and topped up with pods when needed. I marked it down by one star because they no longer offer breakfast or the wine and cheese reception in the evening. I appreciate that because of Covid it was stopped but the lack of breakfast especially was disappointing. Hopefully they'll bring it back for the next time we visit.

Great location and charming building that is MARRED by staff and upkeep issues.

Stayed in the Sycamore room for one night earlier this week. We ran into a couple problems as soon as we got there. The concierge Dimitri was really curt with us and didn’t seem interested in answering our questions when we checked in. We then went to dinner which was wonderful and came back to our room to find several spiders and a fireplace that didn’t work. I called the manager and all he could say was that the fireplace “worked yesterday” (so obviously I must be doing something wrong?). Well he then sent Dimitri in to look at it, and he made minimal effort to determine the problem and stated he couldn’t fix it until the next day. We just decided to call it a night after that but certainly lost a good hour of time focusing on it.

At checkout, there was no concierge present and none of our problems with our stay were acknowledged over the phone (we had to call to figure out how to check out).

Also, the info booklets need to be updated, as they note a continental breakfast from 8-10 every morning which is no longer the case.

Very interesting 100 year old inn that has been remodeled. Very clean. Easy walking to many places along the water. Highly recommended.

The man who was running the desk with the thick foreign accent was curt, short with answers and quite frankly, rude. The parking was insane and almost impossible. My room was a bit above the basics. Location marked lower due to the fact that I had to park in some strange garage.
