Also on the outskirts of Halki, Back to the Roots Naxos is a farm whose owner, Giorgos Giamouris, also organizes hikes around the island. This wonderful host has an infectious enthusiasm for his island and its animals (especially donkeys, other wonderful travel companions). His "Back to the Roots Experience" consists of a day on the farm. He also organizes great walks at very affordable rates. You can also take part in civic experiments such as trail or beach clean-ups.
