LEMPAD OF BALI HOUSE
Family home of the great artist I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, a talented artist and religious man honored for his wisdom.
The family home of the great artist I Gusti Nyoman Lempad (1862-1978), who served the court of Ubud from the late nineteenth century and signed many buildings and sculptures in town, is now open to the public, although his family still lives there. It is interesting to go there to feel the atmosphere in which Lempad created, especially his famous drawings in Indian ink to which he devoted much of his career. More than a talented artist, Lempad was also a religious man honored for his great wisdom.
