Set in an ancient palazzo in the heart of the historic center, the elegant dining room of this restaurant, decorated with frescoes by Bernard Strozzi, is truly magnificent. The table is set with care, and the gourmet cuisine is orchestrated by chef Ivano Ricchebono, who has been awarded a well-deserved 1 Michelin Star. His cuisine draws its inspiration from the sea and the land, for an explosion of aromas and flavors. The dishes are a thing of beauty. Great art! A culinary experience rich in emotion.

Inserito in un vicoletto anonimo vicino al porto. Locale con una sala sorprendentemente affrescata, una vera sorpresa. Accoglienza e servizio impeccabile. Lo chef che gira per i tavoli e chiede se è tutto di nostro gradimento, cibo spettacolare prezzo adeguato.

While the food is good, this restaurant’s website says that it offers a full vegetarian menu that is equal - that is to say, 7 or 8 courses - as the non-vegetarian menus. That is NOT the case - had we known the restaurant did not offer a full vegetarian menu, we would not have eaten dinner here - especially for the price. To add insult to injury, the servers offered me a full 8-course option, but only offered my newly-engaged fiancée - who is a vegetarian - 4 courses! How callous.

Che dire... un'esperienza unica,

La piccola sala affrescata da Strozzi è bellissima, solo va restaurata prima che sia troppo tardi.

Lo chef è passato personalmente a metà serata, portandoci un delizioso brodo caldo.

La musica classica di sottofondo è una coccola in più, chissà che meraviglia sarebbe se si ricavasse un angolo per un piccolo pianoforte a coda e un musicista che suonasse dal vivo...

Il prezzo è troppo alto, soprattutto considerate le quantità (davvero minimal), ma la qualità dei piatti e degli accostamenti non si discute.

Una serata comunque molto piacevole e rilassante.
