A few steps from Campo Sant'Angelo, a handful of tables, a cozy setting and the same menu for twenty years. A family cuisine that honors pasta, meats and grilled vegetables. We'll choose the ultra-rare beef filet, the spaghetti with clams, perfectly al dente , and the eggplant in saor (fried with onions), decidedly very vinegary. And for dessert, panna cotta or tiramisù, without going too far. An address that counts many regulars among its clientele. Only regret, the prices, a little too salty!

If not the best one of the best restaurants in Venice!! We’ve been coming here for more than 15 years.

Not exactly sure I got an excellent meal. Obviously was excited to find this after watching it on Somebody Feed Phil. Ordered the pork with vinegar which was enough for 3 people. Also a spicy pasta (which was pretty mild and al dente). It was well cooked, batter a little too thick for me and the vinegar was ok. Maybe my tongue wasn't cultured enough to appreciate the complexity? I probably would have enjoyed a crispy schnitzel of that size with a creamy mayo more. But that is personal taste.
Service was excellent and friendly.
Would I go again? No. Am I glad I went once? Yes.

This place is great. Vibe, service and food all hit right. I see a lot of negative reviews left regarding the pork which we didn’t have and that it’s expensive. We weren’t bothered by the prices. For a restaurant with 10 seats, the prices make sense to us.
Also to note, we didn’t have the hype from watching the Netflix series. We found this place per a suggestion of a born and raised Venetian woman we met.
Would 100% recommend to friends and hope we can make our way back one day.

For the lack of quality of food far to expensive! The owner seemed more interested in showing us pictures of famous people that ate there than if we enjoyed our meal, a small bowl of bad pasta €25, there are much better restaurants for reasonable price. Dont make the mistake of eating here
