Managed by Benedetta Fullin, this trendy address is almost fully booked for lunch and dinner. In a chic, informal setting, you can admire chef Salvatore Sodano and his team, visible in the open-plan kitchen, working with the finest seasonal ingredients to create dishes where creativity reigns supreme. Indeed, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy spaghetti with oysters and smoked butter, flavored with bergamot, or quail with raspberries and cocoa. Plate presentation worthy of contemporary works of art.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a pleasant experience in this restaurant.
I was visiting this establishment for dinner with my wife & 9 month old baby and another couple, so all together 4 guests + a baby.
As soon as we’ve entered the restaurant a manager made a comment “you havent told us you ll be coming with a baby” which got us started off on a wrong foot. He didnt even say “Good evening”. When making a reservation there was NO “adults only” mentioned on their website so we’ve just assumed brining an infant wouldnt be a problem.
They’ve suggested they’ll bring a baby chair (which proves my point that babies are allowed in this restaurant otherwise they wouldnt have it) and we’ve said yes.
When degustation has started with a first dish baby has started crying & a waitress immediately came to our table & said to my wife “the other guests are complaining about your baby. Can you turn the noise down? It was very rude and my wife started to feel uncomfortable!
Listen to the best part - as my wife was trying to make our baby fall asleep the same blonde waitress came again to our table and suggested this “brilliant idea” : one of their waitresses will take our stroller and walk around Venice with our baby while we are having dinner! Unbelievable- I couldnt believe what was I hearing. That was a first - give your child to a complete stranger to walk around in a new city you are visiting as a tourist! I can only justify their insane proposition by suggesting no one from their staff has their own children.
Food was average at best - for a Michelin star restaurant you would expect better. I couldnt even finish the mushroom dish. Lagoon fish was average. But the real disappointment was service - rude and unacommodating.
All that for 600 EUR for 4x people. Expensive for the value you get.
The only bright spot in all this was one of the waiters (forgot his name but he used to work in London ) who was friendly, the rest of the staff just couldnt care less.
Il sommelier…se avessimo letto prima le recensioni sicuramente lo avremmo evitato.
Potrebbe cambiare il mestiere
Per il resto è andata bene
