Managed by Benedetta Fullin, this trendy address is almost fully booked for lunch and dinner. In a chic, informal setting, you can admire chef Salvatore Sodano and his team, visible in the open-plan kitchen, working with the finest seasonal ingredients to create dishes where creativity reigns supreme. Indeed, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy spaghetti with oysters and smoked butter, flavored with bergamot, or quail with raspberries and cocoa. Plate presentation worthy of contemporary works of art.

It makes you wonder what happened to Michelin critics to suggest this place. Such a disappointment. The menu looks interesting and the raw materials are indeed of high quality. However the food is not what you would expect from a Michelin stared restaurant. Some plates are just ok, many are surprisingly bad. With every plate you can see the chef’s immaturity and his desperate attempt to show off his techniques all while serving tasteless food. Cooking with no soul, boring combinations. The atmosphere nothing special and the staff although friendly and polite could do better.

Very disappointing experience overall. We wish we have more attention to reviews with the lowest score as they were definitely more accurate of the situation. Short story it is an overpriced, underwhelming and borderline unprofessional experience. The food is surprisingly mediocre with some dishes being actually unpleasant. All meats were chewy and hard, few plates under seasoned, most of the dishes gave bitter aftertaste and acidity were no where to be found. Even the “plate” with bread and olive oil was not executed to perfection. Olive oil was mediocre and no salt as extra to balance the unseasoned bread. Dessert with curry probably one of the most unpleasant combinations and the predessert that force into your mouth awkward and completely unnecessary. Chef and menu feel confused and far beyond to Michelin star quality. The atmosphere is cold, no music and the ambiance of the staff trying to be cool but just looks unprofessional. Would not recommend and will be surprised if they keep the Michelin star with this menu.

Un'emozione. Dell'accoglienza, all'aperitivo al bancone, alle storie dietro a ogni piatto. Location curata e romantica e personale accogliente ed estremamente preparati. Cura degli ingredienti e scelta ottima dei vini per il wine pairing.

Avoid this place if you’re coming with children/babies! Very child/baby unfriendly!

Unfortunately we didn’t have a pleasant experience in this restaurant.
I was visiting this establishment for dinner with my wife & 9 month old baby and another couple, so all together 4 guests + a baby.

As soon as we’ve entered the restaurant a manager made a comment “you havent told us you ll be coming with a baby” which got us started off on a wrong foot. He didnt even say “Good evening”. When making a reservation there was NO “adults only” mentioned on their website so we’ve just assumed brining an infant wouldnt be a problem.
They’ve suggested they’ll bring a baby chair (which proves my point that babies are allowed in this restaurant otherwise they wouldnt have it) and we’ve said yes.

When degustation has started with a first dish baby has started crying & a waitress immediately came to our table & said to my wife “the other guests are complaining about your baby. Can you turn the noise down? It was very rude and my wife started to feel uncomfortable!

Listen to the best part - as my wife was trying to make our baby fall asleep the same blonde waitress came again to our table and suggested this “brilliant idea” : one of their waitresses will take our stroller and walk around Venice with our baby while we are having dinner! Unbelievable- I couldnt believe what was I hearing. That was a first - give your child to a complete stranger to walk around in a new city you are visiting as a tourist! I can only justify their insane proposition by suggesting no one from their staff has their own children.

Food was average at best - for a Michelin star restaurant you would expect better. I couldnt even finish the mushroom dish. Lagoon fish was average. But the real disappointment was service - rude and unacommodating.

All that for 600 EUR for 4x people. Expensive for the value you get.

The only bright spot in all this was one of the waiters (forgot his name but he used to work in London ) who was friendly, the rest of the staff just couldnt care less.

Cibo eccezionale, lo chef molto appassionato.
Il sommelier…se avessimo letto prima le recensioni sicuramente lo avremmo evitato.
Potrebbe cambiare il mestiere
Per il resto è andata bene
