If you'd like to take a trip to see whales, dolphins or puffins, Whale Safari & Elding offers cruises from the capital. With Whale Safari, excursions are organized in small groups of 12 people on a RIB speedboat to give you an unforgettable experience and a thrill to behold. With Elding, classic boat excursions are also available, as well as northern lights and sea fishing: wifi, coffee on board and even more comfort. The 2 offices are only 5 meters apart.
One of the leading agencies for aquatic wildlife observation, with a professional and friendly team to introduce you to the discovery of these marine mammals. Even if, as far as whales are concerned, you can't force nature to put on a splendid show every day, you'll have to make do with small dolphins and puffins. Good to know: you can see whales all year round in Iceland, but the best time is in summer, from May to September. And if you don't see anything during your outing, it's often possible to come back.

It was a very comfortable boat . Lots of space to sit inside and out .
The young man who spoke over the intercom spoke perfect English and emplaned the Northern Lights and whales very well .
It’s definitely worth a trip .
When we were on the boat the volcano erupted hence the orange lights .
Food drinks and toilets on the boat plus
warm one piece suits if you needed to keep dry .
Clear enthusiastic commentary.
Only slight quibble, the introduction had already started upon arrival (a lot of people hadn't yet arrived - we were well on time), doesn't detract from a great experience though!
