"Save yourself the headache and avoid this hotel like the plague! From the moment you wake up at the crack of dawn to the late hours of the evening, you're bombarded with the deafening sounds of construction. It's like trying to sleep in the middle of a war zone.
But it's not just the noise that's unbearable—it's the thick layer of dust that permeates every inch of the room. It's so overwhelming that you can practically taste it in the air. And yet, there's not a single mention of the ongoing construction on their website or during the booking process. It's a blatant disregard for transparency and common courtesy.
To make matters worse, when I brought up the issue with the staff, they couldn't care less. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, just a dismissive shrug as if it were no big deal.
It's clear that this hotel has no respect for its guests' comfort or well-being. They'd rather pocket the money from bookings than provide a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Do yourself a favor and find accommodations elsewhere. Trust me, you'll thank me when you're not trying to sleep through the sound of jackhammers.

"Let me tell you about my horrifying experience at this so-called hotel. As I was checking in, I couldn't help but overhear the manager yelling at the housekeepers in the most demeaning and disrespectful way possible. He was berating them, calling them names, and asking if they were stupid. It was absolutely sickening to witness.
It's clear that this place has no regard for treating their staff like human beings. The way they were being treated was nothing short of evil. No one deserves to be spoken to in such a degrading manner, especially not hardworking individuals just trying to do their jobs.
I refuse to support a business that condones such despicable behavior. Treating people with respect and dignity should be a basic expectation, yet this hotel fails miserably in that regard.
For ethical reasons alone, I urge you to steer clear of this establishment. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that actually value their staff and treat them like human beings. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Trust me, you'll sleep much better knowing you're not supporting such a toxic environment

Let's start with the overpowering stench emanating from the bathroom. It hits you like a ton of bricks the moment you step foot in the room. It's as if they've never heard of cleaning or ventilation.
And speaking of cleanliness, don't even get me started. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in years, with grime and God knows what else coating every surface. It was absolutely revolting.
But wait, there's more! The rooms themselves are a joke. They're so cramped and claustrophobic that you'll feel like you're sleeping in a coffin. Forget about opening your suitcase or moving around without bumping into furniture.
And don't expect any help from the staff either. They're as useless as they come, disappearing whenever you need assistance and ignoring your complaints as if they don't exist.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dump. The only thing it's good for is ruining your vacation and making you regret ever setting foot inside. Trust me, you're better off sleeping in your car than subjecting yourself to this nightmare

"Stay away from this nightmare of a hotel! The rooms are so ridiculously small that you'll feel like you're trying to squeeze into a sardine can. There's barely enough space to open your suitcase, let alone move around comfortably. To make matters worse, the rooms are infested with mold, creating a health hazard for anyone unlucky enough to stay there.
But the nightmare doesn't end there. The owners of this establishment clearly have no interest in communicating with their clients. Trying to get any sort of response or assistance from them is like pulling teeth. They're nowhere to be found when you need them, leaving guests feeling abandoned and frustrated.
To add insult to injury, the check-in process is a complete disaster. Instead of a proper reception desk, they have some absurd self-check-in system that hardly ever works. Guests are left standing around, waiting for codes that never seem to arrive. It's an absolute joke.
Save yourself the misery and avoid this hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other options in the area that actually value their guests and provide a decent level of service. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later."

We loved this hotel, very cosy rooms with all the amenities & comfort you could ask for. Their North restaurant as really good & the overall style/vibe of the Micro Hotel was top. It is only a short drive to the Godafoss Falls which we’re absolutely breathtaking. Thank you all & wishing you a prosperous 2023.

Room was very small, almost nowhere to place luggage. Bathroom was small too. The place was under construction so entering and exiting was awkward. No elevators. No restaurant, no breakfast, no staff. You’re sent a room door code to your phone when you check in and you have to press a check out button in the room when you leave. All things considered, more expensive than expected since there were no staff members onsite.

Great location , rooms were small and a bit noisy I think due to the music from the high end restaurant adjacent or neighbors
Management was great

Located in a good location, with clean rooms. I couldn’t ask for much more. The rooms are small, but your only meant to sleep in them. Get out and see the city.

Sehr schade.

We had room #: D233 and visited in November of 2022
4 stars because it could have been cleaner. The floors were not cleaned when we arrived, and our concern was the bathroom floor in general.
Tips: the room gets EXTREMELY hot!! Their piping is right underneath the floor, so the floor feels heated! I loved this feature, but the rooms get so hot it ran us out of there in the morning!
Another tip: they have different culture, and that said there is a picture of naked women showing their breasts downstairs in one of the lobbies (where you walk upstairs to your room). It's very small and not sexualized at all. You won't notice this unless you look at the design and decor downstairs. Just mentioning in case you bring a little one along.
Other than that, no complaints at all! We loved the trendy design and decor! Felt like we were going back in time or something! Very cozy and the right size room. Our room was not small, by any means. The water pressure was amazing? So, I'm not understanding the complaints on that. The check in was extremely easy! All on our phone and no contact with anyone needed! Check out was the same!
We will most likely be back next time we visit Iceland! Added such joy to our trip!

Positiv:
- Freundliches & Hilfsbereites Personal
- Schnelles WLAN
- Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit
- Kostenlose gefüllte Minibar
Neutral:

Paid extra to book a waterfront room and got a room facing construction. The room key code they texted me was to someone elses room with all of their belongings in it. While laying in bed at midnight someone keyed into our room and said they left their charger here - the previous people staying here. They don’t change the key codes which doesn’t feel unsafe in this area but it does create an annoying environment when strangers are walking into your room. House keeping came at 9:30 and unlocked our room again with the code when we were still sleeping. It’s a cute place but I would advise to them to change their room codes after check out, because it wasn’t a great experience for paying so much money. One of our most expensive and definitely least favorite places we stayed on the trip unfortunately

Very dark aestethic, everything is provided in the quite small rooms( blow dryer, tea, coffe etc.), beakfast was good, delicious smoothies, but a very disgusting cheese bread roll.

Not impressed.
The shower and drinking water had a very intense sulphur smell. Shampoo and shower gel pump bottles didn’t work. Bed was not comfortable. It is a cheap attempt to create a hotel room, they should focus less on being trendy and more on delivering a quality experience.

Ontbijt was erg goed geregeld.
