Positivo:
Um ótimo quarto de frente para a piscina, bons têxteis, almofadas e ar condicionado, tv com dois canais portugueses, conforto Hilton.
Pequenos-almoços com produtos variados e de razoável qualidade.
Simpatia da generalidade do pessoal. Melhoria no pessoal dos pequenos-almoços.
Notas altas à Anilda, ao Stevio e à Doreen das toalhas, bem como à Gisela da Receção.
Piscina gigante bem tratada pelo Kevin David.
Jardins impecáveis.
Negativo:
Alimentação fraca. Os menus nunca tiveram qualquer refresh sensível desde a abertura há 5 anos, exagero dos fritos e cheiro a frituras espalhado pela piscina.
Nos pequenos-almoços nunca houve leite magro e só uns dias houve sem lactose, ambos eram produtos desconhecidos. Não se encontram produtos locais como doce de papaia ou queijo de Santo Antão. Nem pão de centeio ou produtos para diabéticos.
Não se encontra uma tosta mista para quem queira algo de ligeiro à noite, apenas espetadas e bafas no bar, mas tudo frito a escorrer óleo.
Os excelentes gelados que antes vinham do Giramondo foram substituídos por gelados de fraca qualidade feitos no local.
Guerra pela marcação das espreguiçadeiras da piscina a partir das 8 horas. Falta um robot para limpeza da piscina gigante.
Em conclusão, um hotel com infraestruturas excelentes, quartos ótimos, piscina e jardins excecionais.
Conhecemos vários hotéis em Santa Maria e este continua a ser o que mais gostamos e onde continuaremos a voltar, se for evoluindo e não for ultrapassado pelos novos hotéis que vão abrir.
L'emplacement de l'hôtel est apprécié, mais le coût élevé de la nuit avec des suppléments pour les boissons, l'absence de geste d'accueil comme un cocktail /carte de bienvenue et de service de navette depuis votre hôtel sont des points négatifs. Bien que le service soit impeccable, le rapport qualité-prix ne semble pas justifié.
J’opterai pour un all inclusive la prochaine fois. Déçue

- Room Preparation and Advance Requests:
Upon arrival, the room was not prepared as expected, despite prior notification by email regarding the presence of a baby. The absence of the baby cot was a significant letdown.
- Connectivity Issues and aditional Charges:
The lack of internet access in the room resulted in significant costs, debited from my personal phone account. This unexpected situation was highly inconvenient.
- Hygiene and Insects in the Room:
The presence of ants in the room and the absence of bathrobes, slippers, and essential hygiene items created an uncomfortable environment that fell below expectations.
- General Conditions and Services:
Common bathrooms frequently being dirty and the overall condition of materials at the pool left much to be desired. Additionally, the limited and repetitive buffet offerings, coupled with quality below expectations, were a disappointment.
- Response Time and Fulfillment of Requests:
The delay in reception responses and the slowness in fulfilling simple requests were additional sources of frustration during the stay.
- Room Cleaning Oversight:
An oversight in room cleaning on one of the days further complicated matters, disrupting the family's logistics.
- Delayed Bicycle Tour Reservation:
Despite booking a bicycle tour for 5:00 PM, bicycles were not available until 5:35 PM, causing considerable inconvenience. We were forced to give up, causing our son's sadness.
Despite these challenges, it is fair to acknowledge some positive aspects, such as the attentiveness of the base staff, the discretion of the staff, and the quality of room and pool dimensions, as well as convenient beach access.
In summary, our stay at Hilton Sal became an unfolding tragedy of unmet promises and squandered opportunities, a stark departure from the opulence one expects from a five-star haven. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the future stays of guests.

Der Pool und die Hotelanlage sind sehr schön. Man muss nicht um einen Liegestuhl kämpfen, es hatte immer genug.
Auch der Strand ist sehr schön, es hat oft hohe Wellen, man kann aber trotzdem fast immer baden.
Der Service in der Poolbar und im Restaurant am Strand ist freundlich, aber nichts besonderes. Öfter ist es etwas langsam, man muss lange auf Drinks warten.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist fein und es hat eine grosse Auswahl an Früchten, Brot, Käse, Fleisch, Eierspeisen etc., es hat jedoch keine Abwechslung. Wenn man mehr als 1 Woche bleibt, könnte das etwas langweilig werden.
Halbpension oder Vollpension kann ich nicht empfehlen. Wir haben 1 x am Buffet gegessen und das ist eine volle Enttäuschung. Besser mal läuft ins nahe Dorf Santa Maria (ca. 20 Minuten Fussweg dem Strand entlang) und lässt sich dort in einem der zahlreichen Restaurants verwöhnen.
Alles in Allem bedeutet Hilton hier nicht Luxus pur. Man spürt, dass man auch mit kleinen Extras Geld verdienen will. Zum Beispiel verlangt man locker 50 Euro für einen Late-checkout bis 18 h, auch wenn das Hotel nicht voll gebucht war. Immerhin wurde uns die Gebühr für das frühe Checkin (wir kamen um 10 h an statt um 15 h) erlassen - einen Beigeschmack hat das aber trotzdem...

Unser Zimmer war immer sehr sauber und ist, wie auch der Rest des Hotels in gutem Zustand.
Es gibt einen großen Pool mit ausreichend liegen und auch am Strand stehen (kostenlose) Liegen und Sonnenschirme bereit. Im Hauseigenen Eforea Spa hatten wir eine Paar-Massage von Neia und Emelisa. Beide waren sehr freundlich und haben eine tolle, wohltuende Massage gegeben. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.
