WATER CIRCUIT
A marked out circuit in Porquerolles, honouring a natural resource to understand the functioning of the water cycle.
In addition to the withdrawals made on the groundwater reserves, Porquerolles imports since 2004 cubic meters of fresh water between April and October to meet the needs of residents and other visitors during this busy period. Let us underline that it is nearly 650 m³ of water per day consumed on average during the summer season against 80 m³ per day in winter. A marked out circuit honors this natural resource in order to understand the functioning of the water cycle thanks to explanatory panels.
