Located on the southern tip of Porquerolles, this lighthouse was built in the early 1830s. With a height of almost 21 meters and an elevation of 84 meters above the sea, it offers from its esplanade an extraordinary view of the Langoustier hills, the Sainte-Agathe fort and the southern cliffs. In good weather, you can even see the Massif des Maures and the harbor of Hyères on the mainland. Its light has a range of 54 kilometers (29 miles), which makes it one of the most powerful lighthouses in Europe. A must-see in Porquerolles!
