DOMAINE DE LA COURTADE
A 35-hectare estate that has been organically farmed since 1997 and produces AOP Côtes de Provence in all three colors
Just a ten-minute walk from the port and village, this 35-hectare estate is the result of a fortuitous meeting between industrialist Henri Vidal, a lover of the island, and Alsatian oenologist Richard Auther, the son of a winegrower. Since 2015, Florent Audibert has been at the helm of the estate, and has since worked brilliantly to move the wines upmarket. The mourvèdre-dominated vineyard is cultivated using organic methods and has produced two cuvées, La Courtade and Alycastre, which sell worldwide.
