What drew us to the Prince of Venice were the homemade pastas and the adorable little outdoor square with its string lights. Less interestingly, the dining room resembles an Italian diner. On the menu: simple but effective recipes such as bucatini with carbonara, orecchiette with pesto or casarecce with vodka. An address we recommend above all for small budgets, as the plates are extremely copious, so you can easily take one for two, or bet on the takeaway to make two meals out of one dish.

The food was very good. The 2 slices of pepperoni pizza shown cost 6 dollars and taste great. The bun has a fluffy texture with various toppings. Primarily really good marinara sauce and multiple kinds of cheese along with crunchy slices of pepperoni. The meatballs were also very good, although they aren’t in the picture. These meatballs are bathed in marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese, making for a really good and filling meal. I also advise not to get any dessert from the restaurant, primarily the panna cotta. Instead of the jelly-like, bouncy texture it is supposed to have, the dessert is more like the left-over cream from tiramisu (mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, heavy cream) diluted with half & half. The flavor is frankly not good and the dessert costs 5$. I would also recommend to not buy beverages in the restaurant due to the marked up prices.

Only come here for the pasta. The pasta is 5 stars, but the pizza is nothing special and the salads are terrible.

Just got the bolognese for lunch. For me, the flavor is more like generic marinara sauce with meat in it. I am disappointed. I will give this place a second chance later.

UCLA, you're lucky to have such an amazing Italian restaurant nearby. Protect it at all cost! I've heard about it from a friend and she said they have affordable and authentic Italian food so my mom and I checked it out.

We came on a Sunday afternoon. The vibe is casual yet cozy. The menu is small and straightforward...Pastas, Romanian Style Pizzas and some desserts. The pasta was cooked to order. We had CARBONARA and BOLOGNESE. Wow, the pasta was fresh and cooked al dente. Generous portions. It was one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had.

We also tried their SAUSAGE and MUSHROOM PIZZA. Generous with the toppings and the dough was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfect!! It didn't need anymore condiment or whatsoever!

Food was served in a timely manner and service was great! Highly recommend it!
