What drew us to the Prince of Venice were the homemade pastas and the adorable little outdoor square with its string lights. Less interestingly, the dining room resembles an Italian diner. On the menu: simple but effective recipes such as bucatini with carbonara, orecchiette with pesto or casarecce with vodka. An address we recommend above all for small budgets, as the plates are extremely copious, so you can easily take one for two, or bet on the takeaway to make two meals out of one dish.

Don’t be perturbed by the front entrance- this place is legit with its pasta especially. See any vodka pasta dish or lasagna.

We just celebrated UCLA graduation here with my daughter, her 3 roommates and our friends and family. There were about 40 of us. Enrico was amazing, so accommodating and easy to work with. The food was terrific and the drinks kept coming. Everyone loved it. And so reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

Had been wanting to try this place for some time and finally did tonight. A few things good, few more not so good.
The pizza with mortadella and pistachio was absolutely phenomenal. It doesn't look like it's on the regular menu but should be. Yum. The lasagne was good. Very hearty and filling. Similar to lasagne from Bologna but a little heavier. The carbonara, however, was not good. Broken scrambled eggs with smokey bacon. The flavor could possibly work but the texture ruined it. No chance to improve it because mine was the last order of the night. Couldn't judge until at home and disappointed. Went there at 8:40 expecting to dine in but could only order to go. Fridays and Saturdays should not have a close time of 9pm. I was looking forward to a glass or two of wine and some nice pasta but here is another early close establishment. Too bad. Please consider later hours on Friday and Saturday - most of the other establishments in the immediate area are open later.
I'll be back for that mortadella pizza again for sure and maybe the lasagne, but I hope the carbonara gets better and that the hours change.
