Gastronomic restaurant with terrace offering seasonal products in Pyla-sur-Mer.
The Skiff Club gastronomic restaurant was designed by William and Sophie de la Co (o) rniche and created by Philippe Starck. Wood is used on the terrace as well as in the dining room and perfectly combines tradition and modernity. The result can be discovered in all conviviality. The dining room is decorated in a local yacht club style. Three skiffs suspended from the white frame of the veranda float above the tables. In the kitchen, the two-starred chef Stéphane Carrade offers gourmet proposals every day, depending on his mood and the market of the day, using seasonal products from the region which he sublimates by associating flavors that are sometimes surprising and always subtle: small oysters cooked with marinara, velvety shellfish with caviar, corn beans and brioche tuile with aniseed; young pigeon roasted with ham fat and flambéed with Armagnac, quince confit with Porto, cep macaroon roasted with fresh walnuts; candied local figs roasted with spiced mulled wine, shortbread and hazelnut cream, ice cream with saccharine verbena. The menu includes four starters, four main courses and four desserts and over 1,000 wine references.
