Hotel Haïtza - the rock in Basque - was built in 1930. Its neo-Basque architecture and privileged location have attracted many personalities: the actress Annabella, the seamstress Jeanne Lanvin, the Rothschild, Michelin, Charles Trenet, Yves Montand families, etc. The establishment has become the essential meeting point for lovers of the Basin. Sophie and William Techoueyres - already at the origin of the rebirth of Hôtel La Co (o) rniche - have given it a second youth by bringing it a mix of simplicity, proximity and elegance. Philippe Starck, in charge of the rehabilitation, chose the Dune du Pilat as one of the building blocks of the site. The rooms, with their refined but unpretentious style, open onto the bathroom through bay windows. Light woodwork, warm white tones and steel accents combine perfectly to create a warm atmosphere. In the living room, photos and family objects are combined with memories of trips to Africa. In a yacht world, the gourmet restaurant is open every evening. At the helm, the doubly starred chef Stéphane Carrade. He offers daily gourmet proposals made from seasonal and local products, depending on his mood and the market of the day. The establishment also has a cocktail bar, a pastry shop and a tea room.

Un endroit superbe pour déguster un Irish Coffe après un bon restaurant. Merci à Julien pour son accueil.

Brunch-buffet du dimanche

L'intérieur est spacieux et on a l'impression de manger un buffet à l'hôtel.
Les plats étaient moyens, mais les fruits de mer à volonté étaient fous. Homard, langoustine, huître, crevettes, etc. La qualité des fruits de mer était très bonne. Ils avaient beaucoup de fromage et les entrées étaient bonnes aussi. La chose la plus satisfaisante était que les différents desserts étaient de très haute qualité.

Superbe découverte, cuisine créative et raffinée, expérience sensorielle magique, accords mets vins parfaitement en scène par le sommelier.

Une des meilleures expériences culinaires que nous avons vécu et ce à plusieurs reprises. Ici la table est divine le client au centre des attentions ( on choisit ce que l’on veut dans les menus, entrée plat dessert ou 3 entrées, 3 plats..). De l’accueil du chef au service en passant par les assiettes tout est parfait.
