A must for lovers of Brazilian specialties: beef churasco, beef picanha, fish moquecca, camarão com catupiry, bobo de camarão... All the dishes, with an interesting quality-price ratio, are homemade, even the desserts. The setting on the beach, feet in the water facing the bay of Fréjus, is idyllic and the welcome of Thierry Molinos and his team is very careful. Don't forget to order a Caipirinha, a delicious Brazilian-style cocktail made with cachaça (cane brandy). A change of scenery guaranteed!

Direkt am Strand in St. Aygulf ist das brasilianische Restaurant Botafogo. Lockere Atmosphäre und immer voll, daher Tischreservierung zu empfehlen! Das Essen ist hervorragend (egal ob Fleisch oder Fisch) und die Portionen sind nicht gerade klein. Obwohl wir eigentlich pappsatt waren und uns schon eine Vorspeise zu zweit geteilt hatten, haben wir uns zu zweit noch ein Café Gourmand geteilt. Samstags wird oft Livemusik gespielt und es wird auch getanzt. Bei Livemusik ist es allerdings relativ laut, sodass Unterhaltungen in einer größeren Gruppe schwierig werden. Das Lokal ist bei den Franzosen sehr beliebt, was ja an sich schon ein gutes Zeichen ist ;-).
