Feast dedicated to Aygulphe, a traveling monk and patron saint of the town of Saint-Aygulf. Blessing, mass, meal and concert.
This votive festival takes place every year at the beginning of September, in the purest local tradition. It is dedicated to Aygulphe, a pilgrim monk from Lérins Abbey and patron saint of the town. Many curious onlookers and locals come to share this convivial moment. It usually begins with a procession, followed by mass, then a stump dance on the church forecourt, followed by an aperitif, a shared meal and a concert.
