While the south of the aggomération dijonnaise evokes vineyards and its prestigious Grands Crus route, 2 500 businesses and 18 000 jobs supply its areas of activity. Its economic parks, located in the communes of Dijon, Await-la-Côte, Chenôve and Perrigny-lès-Dijon, represent the largest commercial, artisan and industrial area in the dijonnaise area! The south, however, suffered from an image deficit that should be filled. This is done since the creation of the Southern Doors, a unique name for the 10 zones of activity. Clear signals have come to accompany this change and facilitate the movement of consumers and employees. The brand new trade union of the South Dijonnais complements the device and is intended to be a tool for commercial animation in this very rough area by the Golden Fleece, its direct competitor to the north of the agglomeration. It aims at promoting the 350 shops and 3 Hypermarchés of the Southern Gates, which alone represent 11 000 jobs.
