A place steeped in history, where you can discover the secrets of myciculture and visit the exhibition tracing its origins.
La Champignonnière de Dijon, located in the Château du Hameau de Corcelotte near Sombernon, is a place steeped in history, dating back to the 13th and 18th centuries, where you can discover the secrets of myciculture. For groups who have booked a tasting session, it takes around an hour and a half to get to know the place: visit the exhibition tracing the origins of La Champignonnière, and the store stocked with mushroom-based preparations. We learn that this little château was given to the Prâlon sisters by the nephew of Saint Bernard, who built the Clairvaux abbey. It has retained its historic charm, highlighted by door decorations reminiscent of the geometry of Burgundian roofs. Blandine and Luc Lecherf, who moved here in 2016, are happy to share the passion that drives them. Tastings can be organized, so La Champignonnière becomes a farmhouse restaurant on Sunday lunchtimes by prior arrangement. Mushroom dishes prepared with vegetables from the château's garden are served in a charmingly authentic dining room. Three times a week, La Champignonnière is at the Dijon market to get closer to the mushroom eaters of the Dijon metropolis. You'll find them at the Halle centrale near the clock on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Direct access to their famous mushrooms. The must is to go up to the Hameau de Corcelotte for a change of scenery and to learn a lot.
