In Moutsounas, two old cranes on the quay bear witness to the village's industrial past, while the small sandy beach, a handful of houses and a jetty form a backdrop that seems to have been forgotten by time. Apanemi, perhaps one of the best fish taverns on the island, is also located here, with tables set up in the shade of tamarisk trees, just a stone's throw from the water. The raw dishes (especially red mullet and tuna carpaccio) are excellent, as are the sun-dried octopus and beautifully grilled fresh fish.
