The faithful heart is no longer, its former owner has taken a well-deserved retirement, and it is the Epicurieux who has since settled. Opened in June 2019, this restaurant, orchestrated by Yoan Romain, with its bistro atmosphere, smells like the cuisine of the South, the region where he took his first steps in the business. A bright and refined room where the red of the cushions on the long bench stands out against the black of modern chairs. On the walls is the slate that gives you a welcome message "take a seat", next to Kandinsky's lithographs. Note that the artistic sensitivity goes as far as the Keith Haring inspiration for the restaurant logo. The menu offers three sea titles, four land titles, the choice is simple and confirms that the inspirations come from the south of the country. That day's formula: Cavagna of Serrano ham, vegetable tartar and mozzarella balls, then half-cooked tuna in garlic, so as to put a little sun on the plate in November. Panna cotta with caramel for dessert. The presentation is meticulous, the quantities very generous and the undeniable application for a courteous and efficient service, which allows however, if one is in a hurry to be served quickly. Enjoy the original and artistic font of the card. Special mention for the playlist with a good old bob Dylan as an accompaniment, Mr. Epicurieux has really good taste!
