The arts area is well known to the Chalon inhabitants. A national stage since 2006, the venue offers a rich cultural programme throughout the year: dance, theatre, concerts, circus... The Instance festival, dedicated to dance, attracts spectators from all over Burgundy and the surrounding regions. It's impossible to talk about dance without talking about music, so the programme directed by Philippe Buquet is eclectic through world music, jazz and symphonic music. The site is surrounded by two other places to follow the beautiful programming. The Piccolo, a magnificent Italian-style theatre, which charm all the artists who perform there, is the North Port Theatre. There is a bar and restaurant area accessible one hour before and after each performance.
