ÉGLISE SAINT PIERRE
Built between 1698 and 1713 in the form of a Greek cross, the church Saint-Pierre de Chalon-sur-Saône is a former Benedictine chapel. It is located on the central square of the City Hall, opposite the town hall, next to the Denon Museum, in the heart of the city centre. The exterior is Italian style, the interior is baroque. The unique architecture of the building, especially its octagonal dome typical of the then architecture, is worth the visit. As well as the monumental organ of carved wood made in Beaune by Professor Michel Tissier in 1970.
