Divine. Leonee our host and wine guide was amazing during our stay, she gave us great local recommendations, was super knowledgable and so helpful. The chateaux itself is peaceful and a great balance of cosy and luxury, the owners are very present on the grounds which just adds to the charm. The surrounding area is amazing to discover and some lovely walks straight from the grounds. Breakfast was a delicious, fresh and local affair and there’s tea and coffee and snacks available throughout the day

The Chateau was extremely beautiful and captivating. The surrounding landscape was full of vineyards and the perfect escape to the French countryside. I stayed in the Count’s suite, and is was the most stunning and luxurious room I’ve ever stayed in. The views from the room, and anywhere I walked on the property, surpassed all expectations. The sunrises and sunsets were the most beautiful. The hosts own the property and local vineyards, and went above and beyond to guarantee I had a great stay. The wine tasting was also great and their wines had a very unique taste, in a great way. I cannot wait to stay there again!

Anna and everyone were magnifique! We highly recommend a stay several days long or more. We were in the tower. Very charming, indeed!

An absolute must if you are visiting France, the Burgandy region or even Paris! We stayed at Chateau Pierreclos while visiting France and I couldn't have thought of a better way to end our trip. It was the highlight of our whole time here! If the Chateau and grounds aren't already beautiful enough, then add in the the amazing staff and owner and you're in an amazing French country side dream!

We had an amazing 2 night stay at the chateau in the count suite, which I would highly recommend you book although any accommodations here looked beautiful. From the second we were greeted by the staff, Léa and Léonnie, and they were nothing but kind and helpful.

We took The Great Wine Tasting tour and it was amazing. Our guide Louisiane was so much fun and informative. She taught us so much about the Burgandy region and the Chateau's wines - which were all delicious and so were the pairings. We also played a really fun game and toured the grounds - Louisiane took her time with us and made it feel like we were hanging out with a friend.

Breakfast is the one meal they do serve (as it is a bed and breakfast) and it is incredible. The owner Anne serves and the spread is unbelievable. The soft boil egg was one of the best I've ever had! Anne would come and talk with us and was so kind with her time! Even when just myself and my friend were the only two people attending breakfast, Anne still put out this entire spread for us.

When we weren't roaming the grounds or wine tasting, we hung out by pool all day with a fantastic bottle of wine from the wine shop. The grounds are just unbelievably peaceful and quiet. It's truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited.

It's a very easy journey directly from Paris to the city of Macon and a short taxi ride from there. The staff was very helpful in giving us the information needed to book a taxi and each taxi was prompt and on time for us. As some reviews mentioned, this is only a bed and breakfast, so you need to take care of other meals on your own. You can walk to a small market from the chateau - it has a wonderful selection of food like some meats and cheeses as well as fruits, crackers etc. If you're from out of the country like my friend and I, I'd suggest food shopping a little maybe before your journey there so you have snacks. Either way, it was very manageable to get whatever we needed.

As mentioned, our stay was just an absolute dream and we can not wait to come back!

Extraordinaire !

We enjoyed our stay overall at Castle Pierreclos, with friendly staff who spoke English well enough. We stayed in one of the newly converted stable rooms, which was lovely and comfortable. The location is nice and unique, but it’s missing a bit of vibe. I would say a nice restaurant at this location for lunch or dinner would add value. We didn’t however find the place good value for money. You had to pay extra €15 to park inside the premises, whilst there is enough space for parking. Breakfast was underwhelming, with stale bread and lack of choice. The breakfast dining hall was beautiful with lovely views of outside but lacked atmosphere and was acoustically bad. Some background music would have been great, as everyone was whispering to avoid the echo. The cost of breakfast at €21 per person was definitely not worth it.

Joli Château entouré de vignes dans le Mâconnais, au calme. La propriétaire des lieux nous a très bien accueilli au petit déjeuner. Très souriante, à pris le temps de discuter sur l histoire de din Château ainsi que de son vignoble. Petit déjeuner très copieux avec des produits locaux. ????
Le vin pris en terrasse à régalé nos papilles. La Chambre césarine est fonctionnelle, la literie très bonne. Dommage que nous n avons pas dormi dans le château.

Très bel endroit dans un château très bien restauré. Les chambres situées dans les anciennes écuries rénovées sont propres, spacieuses et meublées avec beaucoup de goût. Petit déjeuner très bon également. Profiter de la piscine et d’un verre de vin dans la cour du château avec le soleil couchant est vivement recommandé! Le personnel était accueillant et sympathique.

Just plainly stunning and very calm...miss the possibility to get something to eat in the evening..otherwise worth a visit..

Waren hier zum 3 mal auf der Durchfahrt von/nach Spanien leider nur zum Übernachten. Einfach herrlich! Alles stimmig. Toll, wie die Besitzer das Anwesen so stilvoll renoviert haben. Schade, dass der Ort so wenig zu bieten hat.

Magnifique château entouré de vignes. Très bien entretenu, avec une petite boutique. Personnel sympathique. A visiter si vous passez dans les environs.
