Facing the market hall, at the corner of Dragon Street and Mitarde Street, this address which is one of the best in the Bergeracois, offers a modern and cosy setting and a meticulous culinary art. In his show kitchen, Stéphane Cuzin, talented chef only uses fresh products, much of which comes from organic farming that he buys just across, to the market hall or from local producers. he highlights it in the plate, from the appetizer to dessert, for the joy of the eye as much as that of the restaurant. Its menu card adapts to the seasons, to impress us from the outset with a marinated salmon with the tapenade of lentils or velvet chestnuts and chestnut shards as appetizer. In starter, the nougat of foie gras with nuts and pistachios is delightful. For the main course, the cod combines with the foie gras and its small smoked olive oil sauce and potato brandade. The Gouda cheese combines with its light foam and creamy yellow wine and its old snow gouda cheese will surprise us. Needless to say that everything is perfect: presentation, cooking, flavors and so on. We are in the tasty gastronomy. Stephane Cuzin's cherry cake has selected the best local wines but also those of the good vineyards in France (Rhone, Touraine, Languedoc, Champagne). Tables should be booked in the high season.
