TOY SHEPHERD'S CROOK
With a team that takes care of your visit, you can also discover the city of Bergerac from one of the two barges.
Diego, from the Gabarres de Bergerac, also pilots this classic touristic train. This little train allows you to go around the main sites in about thirty minutes, letting yourself be carried along, which generally makes children happy and rests tired legs. The 5 km ride follows the river for a good part and tells the story of the city: the Gallo-Roman period, the Hundred Years War, the advent of Protestantism, the wine trade and the history of the barges on the Dordogne. Narrated in French, English, Dutch, German, Mandarin and Spanish.
