MUSÉE COSTI
Beneath the vaulted ceiling of the Saint-Jacques presbytery, the Costi Museum invites you to discover a unique sculptural universe, between art and serenity.
The vaulted cellars of the Saint-Jacques presbytery house the captivating legacy of 20th-century Greek sculptor Costi. A pupil of Antoine Bourdelle, he bequeathed Bergerac an exceptional collection of nearly 60 sculptures in bronze and plaster. The sober layout and delicate lighting enhance every detail of these works, including a gallery of striking portraits. In the background, the murmur of a fountain runs through the premises, offering a unique experience, both artistic and soothing. A perfect setting for admiring the eternal beauty of form.
