The covered market has been open for more than 130 years. It is a steel construction in the style of the Pavillon Baltard in Paris. Le marché couvert de Bergerac est situé en plein centre ville. On y retrouve un boucher, une boulangerie, un poissonnier et des maraîchers. Le lieu est assez petit, mais convivial.
