CÔTÉ RIVIÈRE
Restaurant in Brantôme-en-Périgord offering quality cuisine with local and fresh products, roasted meats.
A restaurant that doesn't make any noise, but it's worth the detour. Fabienne and David Nolan have built up a solid reputation here. For a while they ran the Estaminet in Périgueux, but they have also travelled all over the world. In a very pleasant setting, Fabienne's welcome is quite charming and David creates a quality cuisine with local and fresh products. All the dishes are announced on the slate, a pledge of renewal. Nothing very complicated in the dish with a very Périgord tendency, but not only: in starter pancake with courgettes and smoked trout or crispy of pig's foot and onion compote. Then green Thai curry with chicken, basmati rice or roasted lamb hazelnuts and mashed potatoes with Bergerac juice. As for dessert, walnut cake or panna cotta. It is also possible to take a seat in the afternoon at the tea room.
