MOULIN DE VIGONAC * * * *
Built in the 16th century on the Dronne, Moulin de Vigonac is superb and it is an awakening of all senses on a daily basis. All rooms and suites have female names. They are spread in the different buildings of the property. Each is decorated in a subtle and personalized style and they all provide very great comfort. Some have private terraces or balconies. The very copious breakfast is served in the dining room, on the terrace or tray in the bedroom. Lunches and dinners, reserved only for guests of the hotel, are accompanied by the sound of the water that passes under the mill… The chef is also the owner of the site. He composes a seasonal menu mainly based on local products: half-cooked duck foie gras with acacia honey, bass fillet with white butter and roasted cabécou, walnut oil and kernels.
