The Musée Fernand Desmoulin (1853-1914) is dedicated to this painter and engraver, whose mediumistic work established him as a great spiritualist artist. Between 1900 and 1902, three spirits came to life under his hand: L'Instituteur, Ton Vieux Maître and Astarté. He produced 93 figures in graphite during turntable sessions. Fernand Desmoulin also held the official title of portraitist of the3rd Republic. As this is within the abbey grounds, the entrance ticket is bundled with the abbey grotto.
