The Brantôme market is one of the finest and most renowned in the department. In addition to the traditional market every Friday morning, there's also a farmers' market on Tuesday mornings in July and August. It's an explosion of colors and flavors that's sure to please! From December to February, the famous certified truffle, walnut and fat markets are held on Friday mornings. It's a great opportunity to stock up on fatty poultry for the festive season, and to try your hand at cooking a terrine of truffled foie gras.
