VILLAGE DE SAINT-JULIEN
Go there and contact
The village of Saint-Julien, with its remarkable Romanesque chapel and narrow streets, offers a magnificent view of the valley.
If there is a village sheltered from view, it is this one. To get there, you have to take a small road that runs into the Dordogne river. The arrival in the village, with its houses with lauze roofs tightly packed together, with the golden cliffs of Marqueyssac in the background, is a delight! Cross the village and continue on to the church of Saint-Julien, a modest Romanesque chapel that was once popular with boatmen sailing down the Dordogne on barges. From there, you have a magnificent view of the valley!
