Ivrea
Ivrea has two visits in the Welcome Tour®. You can choose only one of them, but combining the two during the day allows you to have a complete view of the city. Every first Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m., stroll through the streets and squares of the historic center which is full of ancient monuments. Enjoy a good lunch to regain your strength if you have opted for the second visit at 3 pm, dedicated to the perfectly preserved industrial complex of the Olivetti factory, the giant of the typewriter. Unesco has classified the city as an industrial city of the 20th century.
Pinerolo
At the foot of the mountains, surrounded by beautiful vineyards, the city of Pinerolo offers a magnificent view of the Alps that you can admire during your visit to the Welcome Tour®, every second Saturday of the month, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The history of the city and its emblematic monuments will be told to you, and in particular that of the mythical man in the iron mask who would have been imprisoned here in the second half of the 17th century, just like Nicolas Fouquet, the famous minister of Louis XIV who fell in disgrace.
Moncalieri
Only a few minutes drive from the capital of Piedmont, Moncalieri is a must-see town. Every third Saturday of the month, meet at 3pm for the Welcome Tour® which is a unique opportunity to get to know this city of great historical and patrimonial wealth, of which the splendid castle with its park, former royal residence of the House of Savoy, classified as a world heritage site by Unesco, is of course the star monument
But you will also discover the churches, the streets, the works of art through many fascinating anecdotes..
Susa
There are so many things to see in Susa that chances are you won't know where to look! Fortunately, from 3 pm onwards, thanks to the Welcome Tour®, you won't miss any of the numerous ancient and medieval remains of the city, such as the Arch of Octavian Augustus, the Roman aqueduct and amphitheater, the Roman-Gothic cathedral or the castle of Countess Adelaide. Every fourth Saturday of the month (3pm), stroll through the beautiful historic center of Susa in good company and marvel at its treasures! You can also enjoy an exceptional visit on the occasion of the "Mercatino di Natale" on December 8.
Turin, the Tua Prima Volta in Turin
Every Saturday at 10:00 a.m., let yourself be guided for two hours through the historic center of the city on this remarkable tour, which is part of the Welcome Tour®: you'll learn all you need to know about the capital of Piedmont. The different periods of Turin 's construction will be told to you in front of the monuments, from the ancient vestiges to the modern achievements, passing by the sumptuous baroque period of the royal Turin. They last two hours and can be given in French, except for Ivrea and Moncalieri, which are only in Italian and English
