LE CROQUANT
Like the croquants in history or in Eugène Le Roy's novel, here we have been able to create what was missing. The owner takes care of her customers.
When the television film Jacquou le Croquant, the novel by Eugène Le Roy, was shot in this village in 1967, there was no restaurant in the village. The Roger family, farmers, prepared dishes to feed the production. Thus was born the restaurant. It is now Anne, the daughter who cooks the farm products. She perpetuates the Perigord tradition, including its omelets with ceps or chanterelles. The room, which is still typical, is decorated with bouquets of fresh flowers and we love the terrace which creates the friendly atmosphere of the place.
