Situated 5 minutes from the Lascaux caves, this 19-room hotel also boasts a charming restaurant, renowned for the quality of its welcome, where the chef offers bistronomic cuisine using fresh produce from short supply chains. The menu changes every two months to reflect the seasons. Formulas are offered at lunchtime (in high season, including a pizza formula), as well as takeaway pizzas in the evening. It's not uncommon for wild animals from the surrounding forest to visit at nightfall.

The Domaine du Terroir restaurant, located in La Chapelle-Aubareil in the heart of Périgord Noir, welcomes you in a warm and intimate setting. Here you'll discover traditional Southwestern cuisine featuring delicious Périgord specialties. The chef pays particular attention to the quality and seasonality of ingredients to guarantee an exceptional taste experience. This is probably the secret behind the refined and original recipes on offer, especially as the menu is renewed every month. To enjoy your meals, you can take advantage of the veranda with its magnificent view of the woods and valley. In fine weather, the terrace is also an ideal setting for savouring your dishes while admiring the breathtaking view over the Dordogne Valley. A gourmet address not to be missed!

La viande était tendre et la sauce fut une très bonne surprise, qui change des saveurs habituelles.
Les fromages locaux étaient également très bons, ainsi que les desserts.
Pour accompagner ce repas nous avons choisi un Bergerac bio de 2019 qui s’est parfaitement marié avec notre repas.
Personnel accueillant et sympathique.
